Ok - so if I have to be stuck in Kathmandu for a couple of months, now that the winter has passed, I can't complain about the Springtime! It's still getting down into the 40's at night - so we're still sleeping under our big quilts, but the 70's during the afternoon is not a bad thing! One of the signs of spring for us adoption families is that the Hyatt hotel has re-opened the pool, the bouncy house, and the outdoor buffet. So that's where we spent our afternoon on Saturday, after a breakfast of banana pancakes at the house. While the pool itself looks inviting, it's water is still a bit too chilly for us and the kids, so we hang out at the hot tub - which is more like bath temperature than super hot. Tara got into her bathing suit for the first time and I was unsure whether she's like the pool - given her unhappiness in general with the whole bathing experience. But - she loved it and didn't even cry when she accidentally dunked completely under water. Swimming classes here we come! We went out to the Hyatt with Jennifer and Maya (who got the call on Friday that their visa was approved!!!!) - so lots of pictures of Tara and Maya today.
After swimming was lunch, then bouncy house!

Most excellent! I have a place when you get home for swimming classes (not Michael Phelps) with a heated, salt-water pool. I need to sign Imogen up so maybe we can schedule at the same time.
