Based on conversations my lawyer had with the DC office of immigration - I expected to hear today. Instead - a family who filed a day after me heard (very happy for them as they are here with their other child and it's been a challenge). This raising of expectations and then dashing them is really hard.
The email from the DC office today indicates that I 'should' hear in the next 2 days - so really, who knows now.
