New Years Eve - bonus post

We spent the evening with several of the other families up at one of the hotels which has a Friday night buffet. I dressed Tara up in her finest of pinks - please notice the sparkly shoes (thanks to Holly for the fabulous hand-me downs). We all drank lots of wine and had a lovely time - and are back at the apartment by 8:30!! Tara tried her first sip of wine and unfortunately for me, I think she liked it!

Happy New Years!

Happy 2011 Judy and Tara!! What an amazing way to start the new year. It's been incredible reading your posts and seeing your relationship with Tara growing every day. Very inspiring to a soon to be first time mom like me (although I'm anticipating diapers will be playing a much larger role in my upcoming parenthood!). I'm sending you both a big hug. Can't wait to meet Tara!

Oh Judy! This is such a wonderful blog! It's so fantastic to document this intense and emotional time. You are doing a great job. A 3 year-old is never easy to take care of and taking on an orphaned one who doesn't speak the same language is quite a challenge! If anyone can do it - you can!
I'll pass on to you our family motto, "Stay Calm and Carry On!"
