Today, I found out that Tara's file has been determined to be 'not clearly approvable' and has been sent on to the US Immigration Service (USCIS) in New Delhi. I have waited 4 months since the closure to be told that I can't bring her home yet, and now my paperwork gets in line to wait another undetermined time. Some families have heard in as short as 10 days while others are still waiting after 2 months in New Delhi. I am going to Kathmandu on December 18th regardless and will start my life with my daughter - and I will fight to bring her home.
